How to Recycle our Packaging
We’re committed to reducing waste and making sustainable choices. As part of this mission, we're excited to have launched our new packaging, designed to be even kinder to the environment while keeping your meals delicious and fresh.
Please take the time to reduce waste by recycling your packaging properly!
Meal Trays & Film Lids
Our new custom-made trays are made from renewable, plant-based resources.
Here’s how to recycle them correctly:
- Trays: Made from bagasse (sugarcane fiber) with a thin, removable CPET liner.
- Film Lids: Made from PET.
- How to Recycle: After enjoying your meal, rinse the tray and film lid.Carefully peel the thin plastic liner away from the inside of the paper tray. Recycle the bagasse tray with your paper or cardboard waste. The plastic liner and the film lid can both be recycled with plastic packaging (PET).
Thermal Delivery Bags
- What to Do: Leave the bags outside your door on your next delivery day. Our drivers will pick them up, wash them, and reuse them for future orders.
- Important Note: Please remove the ice packs before returning the bags. Leaving them inside can cause mould, making the bags unusable.
Ice Packs
- Contents: 99% water-based gel and an outer bag (HDPE/non-woven fabric).
- How to Recycle:Cut open the ice pack and dispose of the non-toxic gel as normal food waste.Unfortunately, the outer bag is not widely recyclable due to its combination of materials. Please dispose of it in your general waste.
- Alternative Use: Keep them in your freezer and reuse them as ice packs for picnics, sprains, or sore muscles!
Carton Boxes
- Material: Corrugated Cardboard
- How to Recycle: Our carton boxes can be recycled as paper. Simply flatten the box and place it in your paper recycling bin.
Thank you for helping us close the loop and reduce waste together!
