How to Recycle our Packaging
We’re committed to reducing waste and making sustainable choices.
Our meal trays and film lids are made from PP (polypropylene) and are 100% recyclable. Together, they weigh just 20g—about the same as a plastic water bottle—but provide a complete, delicious meal.
By cooking in larger batches and using wholesale ingredients, we minimize food and packaging waste in our kitchen. Please take the time to reduce waste by recycling your packaging properly!
Meal Trays & Film Lids
Weight: Trays = 19g, Film = 1g
Material: Made from PP (polypropylene), 100% recyclable.
How to Recycle:
- Wash the trays and film lids after use.
- Bring them to your local recycling station.
Thermal Delivery Bags
What to Do: Leave the bags outside your door on your next delivery day. Our drivers will pick them up, wash them, and reuse them for future orders.
Important Note: Please remove the ice packs before returning the bags. Leaving them inside can cause mould, making the bags unusable.
Ice Packs
- Contents: 99% water-based gel, HDPE
How to Recycle:
- Cut open the ice pack bag and dispose of the gel as normal food waste.
- Unfortunately, the outer bag is not widely recyclable due to its combination of non-woven fabric and plastic.
- Alternative Use: Keep them as ice packs for picnics, sprains, or sore muscles!
Carton Boxes
Material: Corrugated Cardboard
Weight: Varies by box size.
Our carton boxes can be recycled as paper. Simply flatten the box and place it in your paper recycling bin.
